JOHN M. FULERAS, J.D

With over twelve years of experience, Mr. Fuleras focuses his practice in advising developers, owners, investors, lenders, users and contractors in all their real estate law needs as well as closely-held businesses with issues they may encounter. His services include all real estate law issues such as: purchase/sale agreements, lending, leasing, fund raising and construction agreements. Mr. Fuleras also provides services in the following areas of law: corporate formation, business acquisition and disposition, entertainment and estate planning. Immediately prior to joining the Zeppos Law Firm, as of counsel, Mr. Fuleras was employed by the preeminent real estate consulting firm, Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal.

At Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal, Mr. Fuleras managed a series of complex real estate engagements dealing with some of the nation’s most recognizable real estate assets. His experience includes work on an NFL stadium, the country’s largest mall, several corporate world headquarters, large real estate opportunity funds and regular health care real estate engagements for health care systems throughout the country. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Mr. Fuleras was Director of Real Estate for the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), a 2 billion dollar per year health care system in Southeastern Michigan. At the DMC, Mr. Fuleras had full responsibility for all of the system’s real estate transactions. Before joining the DMC, Mr. Fuleras was in the private practice of law in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where he regularly advised real estate clients, local municipalities and small to large business clients. Mr. Fuleras began the practice of law in Michigan as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the County of Oakland where he carried a full felony docket of criminal cases. Most recently Mr. Fuleras has been participating as counsel to one of the world’s largest retailers as they roll out in the United States.

Mr. Fuleras is admitted to practice in the State Bars of California and Michigan. He carries a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, cum laude, from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in economics from Michigan State University.
